Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance. Depending on your insurance plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. If requested I will provide you with paperwork to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

    To determine whether you have out-of-network benefits, call your insurance provider and ask the following questions:

    • Do I have out-of-network coverage for mental health?

    • Does my insurance cover Telehealth sessions?

    • What is my deductible? Has it been met?

    • Once I reach my deductible, how much do you reimburse?

    • Is there a co-insurance?

    • How do I submit my therapist’s Superbills for reimbursement?

    • Is there a timeframe for submitting Superbills?

    • What is the reimbursement rate for a 45 minute session? (CPT code 90834)

  • Please contact me to discuss the fee. We will determine the fee during our consultation call.

  • Should you need to cancel or change your session, please do so at least 48 business hours in advance. For cancellations with less than 48 hour notice or no-shows, you will be responsible for the full session fee. Notify me as soon as possible so that we can try to reschedule to avoid a charge. *Please note cancellation fees are not eligible for reimbursement by your insurance company.

  • I am currently offering only Telehealth sessions via a secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual platform.

  • Start by completing the contact form. We will then schedule a free 15-minute consultation, where I get a sense of what you’re looking for, why therapy now, answer any questions, and share with you a bit about how I work. If it feels like we are a good fit, we will schedule our first session.
